Eisenhut, Director Division of Licensing ADDITIONAL INFORMATION CORRECTIVE ACTION PROGRAM RELATED TO REACTOR TRIP BREAKER FAILURES No. 1 UNIT SALEM GENERATING STATION DOCKET NO. 50-272 Our letter of March 14, 1983 transmitted a report describing PSE&G' s corrective action program related to tbe reactor trip breaker failure events at Salem *Unit 1 on February 22 and 25, 1983.

The purpose of this letter is to provide information that was inadvertently omitted from that repo~t concerning maintenance work orders as discussed in Section 3.7 of that report.

PSE&G is reviewing all non-safety related work orders that have been written since issuance of the Master Equipment List (MEL) for proper classification.

At tbe pres~nt time this review is approximately 80% complete wi"th no classifi-c~tion discrepancies found.
