This'letter transmits-the intended scenario for the 1982 FEMA/NRC witnessed exercise of the New Jersey/Delaware/Salem Generating Station radiological emergency response plans.
This exercise is being performed to fulfill the requirements of 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix E.
The attached scenario has been developed in cooperation with the States of Delaware and New Jersey and is in accordance with the requirements of NUREG-0654 and meets the criteria N. 3, Items A through F.
The exercise is scheduled for May 19, 1982 and therefore any comments that you may have on the enclosed material should be transmitted to me as soon as possible so that resolution can be made in timely manner.
The contents of this scenario are controlled material and have not been released to participants in the exercise.
We hereby request that this material not be released to the public until after May 19, 1982.
