REQUEST FOR AMENDMENT FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE DPR-75 UNIT NO. 2 SALEM GENERATING STATION DOCKET NO. 50-311 Ref. LCR 81-21 In accordance with the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended and the regulations thereunder, we hereby transmit copies of our request for amendment of the Facility Operating License DPR-75 for Salem Generating Station, Unit No. 2.
This request consists of the addition of two footnotes in the Safety Technical Specifications (.Appendix A).
The change was requested and authorized via telephone and confirmatory letter on November 9, 1981 by Mr. Thomas M. Novak, Assistant Director for Operating Reactors, Division of Licensing.
Since this change involves a single safety issue, and is deemed not to involve a significant hazards consideration, it is deter-mined to be Class III as defined by 10 CFR 170.22.
