EMERGENCY PLAN NOS. 1 AND 2 UNITS SALEM NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION DOCKET NOS. 50-272 AND 50-311 Pursuant to NRC regulations 10CFR 50.54(q) and 10CFR 50 Appendix E, Section V and in response to the Emergency Pre-paredness Appraisal performed by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Office of Inspection and Enforcement at Salem Generating Station from March 23 through April 2,-198~ we hereby submit 10 copies of our revisions to our Salem Generating Station Emergency Plan and implementing procedures.

These two documents supersede in total all previous emergency preparedness submittals.

These revisions do not reduce the effectiveness of the plans and procedures and are being submitted within 30 days of their implementation.. Additionally, *these revisions have. been reviewed by Mr. Dale Donelson, U.S. NRCRegion 1 and found to be responsive to Appendix A of the Emergency Preparedness Appraisal.
