FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE DPR-75 SECTION 2.C.(24) (d)(i)

NO. 2 UNIT SALEM NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION DOCKET NO. 50-311 Item 2.C. (24)(d) (i) of the Facility Operating License DPR-75 states that "No later than 90 days from the date of issuance of this license, PSE&G shall report to the NRC the status of any items related to emergency preparedness identified by FEMA or the NRC as requiring further action".

In response to this requirement, we offer the following information:

1.

By letter of June 18, 1980, PSE&G responded to the Appendix A and B requests for information from the Emergency Preparedness Appraisal performed during the period of March 23 - April 2, 1981 by Region.I, NRC.

To date, we have received no comments on the actions we proposed in our response and therefore consider them satisfactory.

We presently antici-pate meeting all dates committed to in this response.

2.

The States of Delaware and New Jersey continue to work with their respedtive regional FEMA reviewers to resolve comments based on the last submittal of their draft Plans and exercise comments.

The con-sulting firm of Stone and Webster is assisting both states in this effort.

The present schedule indi-cates submittal of governor-approved plans from both states to FEMA in the late October time frame.
