The Commission was briefed by staff and by Mr. John E. Dickey (FEMA) on the emergency planning exercise at the Salem site and on the review of fire protection aspects of the plant..
The Commission deferred final action on the staff recommendation to authorize issuance of the license, pending a meeting to hear the results of a fire protection plant review to be conducted by R. Mattson.
