DEGRADED GRID VOLTAGE NO. 1 UNIT SALEM NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION DOCKET NO. 50-272 Your letter dated January 19~ 1981~ transmitted NRC approval of PSE&G's proposed design modifications for achieving an acceptable level of protection against degraded grid voltage and requested that the technical specifications needed to implement these modifications be submitted for your review.
It is our intention. to implement these design modifications during the next refueling outage~ currently scheduled to commence in October; 1981.
The proposed technical specifi-cations would be required upon startup for the next cycle of operation.
We are providing~ in the enclosure to this letter~ proposed technical specifications for your review as requested.
A formal license change request will be submitted for approval in the near future.
