- 2) KHNP Letter MKD/NW-16-0379L, Submittal of Topical Report APR1400-K-Q-TR-11005-NP, Revision 5, KHNP Quality Assurance Program Description (QAPD) for the APR1400 Design Certification, dated May 2, 2016 By the letter dated October 6, 2016 (Reference 1), the NRC issued the ACCEPTANCE LETTER for KHNPs QAPD Topical Report (TR, Revision 5), based on the submitted letter of KHNP to the NRC dated on May 2, 2016 (Reference 2), which is used on the APR1400 DC activities to the extent specified and under the limitations delineated in the TR.
This letter submits the TR designated APR1400-K-Q-TR-11005-NP-A, Revision 2, KHNP Quality Assurance Program Description (QAPD) for the APR1400 Design Certification. In accordance with the direction of the NRC staff and the website guidance, the APR1400-K-Q-TR-11005-NP-A, Revision 2, incorporates (1) the title page, (2) the NRC acceptance letter for APR1400-K-Q-TR-11005-NP, Revision 5, dated October 6, 2016, (3) the NRC issuance letter for Final Topical Report Safety Evaluation (FTRSE) on APR1400-K-Q-TR-11005-NP, Revision 4, dated July 28, 2014, (4) the FTRSE, and (5) the Topical Report designated APR1400-K-Q-TR-11005-NP-A, Revision 2, KHNP Quality Assurance Program Description (QAPD) for the APR1400 Design Certification.
