Dear Mr. Varga:
SALEM SECURITY FORCE TRAINING AND PLAN SALEM GENERATING STATION UNIT NOS. 1 AND 2 DOCKET NO. 50-272 AND 50-311 Your letter dated January 5, 1981 and received by PSE&G on January 16, transmitted review comments on the Sale.m Generating Station Security Training and Qualification Plan (T&QP).
Major revision of the Salem Generating Station Security Contingency Plan subsequent to submittal of the T&QP makes it necessary to significantly reordei the T&QP to achieve consistency between the two documents.
Therefore, in accordance with telephone discussions conducted on January 26, 1981 between Division of Licensing (NMSS) Barry Minelli and PSE&G's Nuclear Security Coordinator, Michael Ivanick, PSE&G requests a thirty day extension to March 16,.1981 of the date for submittal of the revised T&QP.
Approval of this request will ensure sufficient time to produce an accurate document of the high standard expected by the NRC and PSE&G.
