Your letter dated July 2; 1980; requested that the Salem 1 Technical Specifications be amended to insure operation within the limits determined to be acceptable following the implementation of the TMI Lessons Learned Category A Items.
The requested amendments to the Salem 1 Technical Specif ica-tions are substantially those which are presently under review by Licensing Branch 3 and will be issued with the Salem 2 full power operating license.
Our letter dated September 9; 1980; indicated our intention to propose amended Salem 1 Technical Specifications to bring them in line with those of Salem 2 after issuance of the Salem 2 full power operating license; and requested the appropriate schedule relief.
In response to your recent telephone request~ we wish to inform you that we will submit the proposed Salem 1 TMI-related technical specification revisions for your consideration by January 16; 1981.
