The pump was started manual1y and subsequently restored to operable status within an hour.
On Friday, October 17, 1980, the pump again failed to start. on an
- automatic initiation signal.
A man has been desi9nated to start the pump manually in case its operation is required until the cause of the* failures has been determined and the pump restored to operable status..Further illVestigation continues.
