REQUEST FOR AMENDMENT FACILITY OPERATING LICENSES DPR-70 AND DPR-75 UNIT NOS. 1 AND 2 SALEM GENERATING STATION DOCKET NOS. 50-272 AND 50-311 Ref. LCR 80-04 In accordance with the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended and the regulations thereunder, we hereby transmit copies of our request for amendment and our analysis of the changes to Facility Operating Licenses DPR-70 and DPR-75 for Salem Generating Station, Unit Nos. 1 and 2.
This request consists of proposed changes to the Safety Technical Specifications (Appendix A) involving the section pertaining to Limiting Conditions for Operation (General).
These changes were requested in the letter from Mr. Darrell G. Eisenhut to All Power Reactor Licensees dated April 10, 1980, and were received on April 18, 1980.
These changes have no safety or environmental significance and are, therefore, determined to be a Class II Amendment for one unit and a Class I Amendment for the other unit as defined by 10CFR 170.22.
A check in the amount of $1,600 is enclosed.
Within thirty (30) days we will modify either our Operating Memo pertaining to Technical Specification interpretations or the Operations Directive Manual to insure compliance with these specifications.
