SAFETY REVIEW GROUP NO. 2 UNIT SALEM NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION DOCKET NO. 50-311 April 18, 1980 As follow-up to our letter of April 3, 1980, and confirming my April 17, 1980 discussion with Mr. D. F. Ross, we hereby advise you that the Safety Review Group (your reference, Safety Engineering Group) will report to the General Manager -
Licensing and Environment within the Engineering and Construction Department.
This reporting arrangement is committed to only through the low power test program.
Furthermore, this commitment does not preclude future modi-fications in the means by which the independent safety review function is provided within our organization.
