CHANGEOVER FROM INJECTION TO RECIRCULATION NO. 2 UNIT SALEM NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION DOCKET NO. 50-311 PSE&G wishes to inform you that it is our intent to modify the ECCS to provide an automatic system for changing over from the injection phase to the recirculation phase.
This modification is intended to provide a backup for the normal manual changeover operation.
Although the design of this modification is not yet under way, we anticipate that the modification can be completed during the first refueling outage.
A design description will be provided for your review prior to implementation.
