Acknowledgment - Reply to a Notice of Violation
Dear Mr. Greene,
This e-mail acknowledges receipt of the letter from the Kansas City Water Services Department dated March 6, 2018, in response to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission's (NRC) letter dated February 23, 2018, transmitting a Notice of Violation. In your letter, you described the corrective actions that the Department has taken and plans to take to address the violations. The NRC has reviewed these corrective actions, which appear to be adequate, and has no further questions at this time. The completion and effectiveness of these corrective actions may be examined during a future inspection.
In accordance with Title 1O of the Code of Federal Regulations 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC's Public Document Room or from the NRC's Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS), accessible from the NRC's website at tittp://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html.
