spent*fuel pool, in addition to other support systans at the plant.
It is for this reason that we *would appreciate receiving an engineering analysis of this m:>st recent transient at Salem One.
In addition, I would note that the seri~s of equipment failuces detected during this initial refueling outage at the Salen facility--
control rod breakage, fuel assembly strap breaks, steam generator pipe cracks and now radioactive debris in water lines leading to.the spent fuel pool _..;. would appear to prevent t.."ti.e plant from returning to service within the time period contemplated by 1-h:. Ll.den wTien. he testiL.9-ed on this point in ¥.ay.
