NRC IE BULLETIN.NO.79-06A, REVISION 1 (ITEM 13)
NO. 1 UNIT SALEM GENERATING STATION Pursuant to the telecon of this date between.Mr. E.N. Schwalje, PSE&G's Manager - Quality Assurance, and Mr. R.R. Keimig of your offic.e, PSE&G hereby requests an extension to the current response due date of May 15, 1979 on the subject bulletin.
PSE&G Engineering has advised that the preparation of the required response involves possible changes to Technical Specifications, and identifying design changes necessary in order to effect long-term resolutions.
Furthermore, it should be noted that Salem No. 1 Unit is presently out of service for refueling.
It is therefore requested that a response due extension be authorized to the date of May 31, 1979.
