Enclosed is an application {XSOU8847), dated February 13, 2018, received by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission from ConverDyn, for the export of 7,000,000 kilograms natural uranium ore concentrates (UaOs) to Techsnabexport in Russia for conversion, enrichment and ultimate use in nuclear power reactors in North America or EURATOM countries.
Assurances from Russia that the material will be subject to all of the terms and conditions of an agreement for cooperation, are required. Your assistance in obtaining the necessary assurances will be appreciated.
