OF MEETING ON UNIT 2 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS HEL-D ON MARCH 5, 1979 Representatives of Public Se~vice Electric and Gas Company, Westinghouse Electric Corporation ai'1d the NRC-staff met in Bethesda9 Maryland on March 5, 1979 to discuss Appendix.'\\Technical Specifications for the Salem Nuclear Generating Station, Unit 2.
The purpose of the meeting was to identify additional modifications to the Standard Technical
- Specifications for Westinghouse Pressurized Water Reactors in order to make them applicable to the Salem Nuclear Generating Station,_ Unit 2.
- A list of attendees is enclosed.
Proof and Review Copies of Salem Unit 2 Technical Specifications i~ere*
transmitted to the applicant in January 1979.
The applicants provided comments regarding the Technical Specifications related to (l) turbine valve testing, (2) charcoal requirements for filters, (3) set point for conditions for operat.i()n, (4) control rod position indication requirements, (5) overpressure protection system requirements, (6)
- auxiliary feedwater pump -requirements, and (7) electrical requirements with particular emphasis on diesel generator testing.
Me advised.the applicants that'we*would consider their comments and would revise the Salem Unit 2 Technical Specifications as deemed necessary.
