.Salem Resident NRC Inspector, on Tuesday, October 24, 1978, advising of a reportab1e occurrence in accordance with Technical Spec~fication 6.9.2.f.

Low pressure in the contro1 air system caused operation of the air operated delu9e valves, necessitating operation of the fire pumps in the manua1 mode.

A detailed reportab1e occurrence report wi11 be submitted.in the time period specified by Technica1 Specifications.
