Dear Mr. McKirgan,
By letter dated January 17, 2018 (referenced), NRC staff identified an early request for additional information (RAis) that are required to complete the detailed technical review of Hl-STOM UMAX Amendment 3 to the Certificate of Compli~ce (No. 1040). NRC requested that Holtec provide the additional information by March 3, 2018.
As previously discussed, Holtec will be unable to submit the requested additional information by the
.March 3, 2018 deadline, and will provide the RAI response on or before May 21, 2018.
