I DOCKET 50-255 - LICENSE DPR PALISADES PLANT PERSONNEL AND ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGES Consumers Energy Company is pleased to announce several organization changes which affect senior management responsible for operation of the Palisad~.s Plant.

Robert A. Fenech has been named Senior Vice President, Nuclear, Fo~sil and Hydro Operations. Mr Fenech was previously the Vice President, Nuclear Operations. In his new role, he will continue as the Chief Nuclear Officer for Consumers Energy, and will continue to report to David W. Joos, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer - Electric. Reporting directly to Mr Fenech will be the Site Vice President -

Palisades; the Manager, Nuclear Performance Assessment; and the General Manager, Big Rock Point.

Thomas J. Palmisano has been named the Site Vice President - Palisades. Mr Palmisano was previously the Palisades Plant General Manager.

A number of changes have also been made to the Palisades site organization reporting to Mr. Palmisano. The positions that affect plant operations, modifications and maintenance are as follows:

David W. Rogers has been named General Manager - Plant Operations. Mr Rogers was previously the Plant Operations Manager. Reporting to Mr Rogers will be the Shift Operations Supervisor, the Chemistry and Radiological Services

Daniel P. Fadel has been named Director of Engineering. Mr Fadel was previously the System Engineering Manager. Reporting to Mr Fadel will be the System Engineering Manager, the Design Engineering Manager, the Engineering Programs Manager, and the Nuclear Engineering Manager.

Steven T. Wawro has been named Director of Maintenance & Planning. Mr.

Wawro was previously the Planning & Scheduling Manager. Among those reporting to Mr Wawro is the Maintenance Manager.

Jackson L. Hanson has been named Director, Strategic Business Issues.

Among those reporting to Mr. Hanson are the Licensing Manager and the Projects and Construction Manager.

Carolyn R. Ritt has been named the Director of Plant Support. The plant security organization is among those functions reporting to Ms. Ritt.

To reflect these changes, NRC Headquarters and Region Ill are requested to revise mailing lists as follows:
