A CMS Energy Company October 2, 1998 US Nuclear Regulatory Commission Document Control Desk Washington, DC 20555 Palisades Nuclear Plant 27780 Blue Star Memorial Highway Covert, Ml 49043 LICENSEE REPORT OF MONTHLY OPERATING DATA DPR-20, DOCKET NO 50-255 Enclosed is a copy of the Monthly Operating Data and Summary of Operating Experience for the Palisades Nuclear Plant for the month of September 1998. Also enclosed is a revised Operating Data Report sheet for the month of August 1998.
The August 1998 data was revised due to two mistakes: 1) an additional 744 hours0.00861 days <br />0.207 hours <br />0.00123 weeks <br />2.83092e-4 months <br /> were incorrectly added to the year-to-date and cumulative columns for Hours in the Reporting Period (Item 11 ), and 2) the 31.5 hours5.787037e-5 days <br />0.00139 hours <br />8.267196e-6 weeks <br />1.9025e-6 months <br /> from the July 1998 forced outage were incorrectly added to the August 1998 Forced Outage Hours. These two mistakes resulted in incorrect capacity numbers and an incorrect forced outage rate.
Revised m:frnbers are highlighted in bold on the sheet. The correct numbers are included in the September statistics.
