- limiting reactor vessel material will reach the PTS screening criteria. On May 15, 1996,
- CPCo met with the NRC staff to discuss the updated reactor vessel fluence values* and
- their effect on the 1.0 CFR 50.61 analysis for the Palisades Plant. *At the end of the meeting, the NRC staff provided a list of questions which were discussed during the meeting. They requested that Consumers Power Company respond to those questions within 30 days of the date of the meeting. Those questions were later included as to the May 31, 1996 NRC letter which summarized the information discussed at the May 15, 19_~ meeting.
To assist the staff and to expedite the review of the Palisades pressure vessel fluence reevaluation, we are providing our response in several parts as the information becomes available. This submittal contains, as Attachment 1, our response to Item 1. 1 in Attachment 4 to the May 31, 1996 NRC letter.
