- LICENSE DPR PALISADES PLANT REPLY TO GENERIC LETTER 95 PRESSURE LOCKING AND THERMAL BINDING OF SAFETY-RELATED POWER-OPERATED GATE VALVES This letter provides the requested sixty-day reply to Generic Letter 95-07, "Pressure Locking and Thermal Binding of Safety-Related Power Operated Gate Valves." Palisades intends to implement the identified actions requested in the generic letter. The scr.eening evaluation of safe_ty related power operated gate valves will be submitted on or before November 15, 1995 to identify those valves susceptible to pressure locking. and thermal binding~
Additionally, the corrective actions completed and any corrective actions to be taken to dispositi-0n the identified susceptibilities will be reported in the required 180 d_ay NBC submittal,* d~e.. Fe)>ru_ary }3,_J999.
