SUMMARY
OF COMMITMENTS This letter contains 3 new commitments. These commitments are as follows:
- 1.
The failure mode of the "A" Main Feedwater Pump {MFP) layshaft lockwasher locking tab will be determined and appropriate changes to both MFPs will be made.
- 2.
The feedwater control system changes suggested by a 1992 ABB report will be evaluated.
Proposed changes on the response of the feedwater system for other events will be evaluated and appropriate changes implemented.
- 3.
The MFP governor control setpoint of 5250 RPM and its relationship to the overspeed trip setpoint will be evaluated and suitable changes implemented.
