LICENSED OPERATOR REQUALIFICATION PROGRAM EVALUATION
(REPORT NO. 50-255/950Q6(DRS))
Dear Mr. Palmisano:
This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. J. Hanse.n and Mr. J. Lennartz
of this office on M~rch 27-31, 1995.
The inspection included a review of
- activities authorited for your Palisades Nuclear Plant. At the conclusion of
the inspection, the findings were discussed with those members of your staff
identified in the enclosed report.
Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report. Within
these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures
and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observation of
activities in progress.
The purpose of the inipection was to determine
whether activities authorized by the license were conducted safely and in*
accordance with NRC ~equirements.
Based on the results of this inspection, the inspectors concluded that the
licensed operator requalification training program was being implemented in
accordance with*lO CFR Part 55 requirements.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's "Rul~s of Pra~tice," a copy of
. this letter and iis enclosures will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
