RESPONSE TO NOVEMBER 12, 1994, LETTER REGARDING PALISADES DRY CASK STORAGE ISSUES
Dear Ms. Shillinglaw:
Thank you for your letter of November 12, 1994, expressing further concerns regarding dry cask storage at Palisades.
My staff is currently working on a response to your letter.
As requested, you should have already received copies of meeting summaries and handouts from the August 25 and November 10, 1994, NRC meetings with Consumers Power Company.* These two summaries were sent to you on November 22, 1994.
Because of the broad range of questions raised and :fhe depth of detail requested in your November 12, 1994, letter, a significant amount of staff resources will be required to formulate a response.
A complete response to your letter will be issued fr.om my office as soon as possfble.
