Diablo Canyon 2018-01 Operating Test Comments NOTE: This summary is being provided in lieu of Form 301-7, Operating Test Review Worksheet, because the licensees operating test submittal was reviewed and overall deemed SATISFACTORY.

Scenario 1:

• Event 6 - add steps for E-2 entry; add close MSIVs in D2

• Event 7 - non-verifiable action (not a component failure)

• Page 8 - manual trip not a post-scenario critical task (TDAFW should be started as part of E-0)

• Terminate after SRO announces transition to E-1 Scenario 2:

• Event 1 - Revise such that an adjustment is required Scenario 3:

• No comments Scenario 4:

• Add steps per AP-3, Steam Generator Tube Leak

• Add steps to manually initiate SI Scenario 5:

• Event 2 - Add potential alternate success path

• Event 5 - Add 5 minute RCP trip criteria

JPM S1:

JPM S-3:

• In task standard make pressure decrease > TS value (579 lbs.)

• Terminate JPM after step 5.8 JPM S-4:

• Add remains running in task standard

• 9.3 critical with addition of pump remains running JPM S-5:

• In task standard add place alternate CFCU in service

• Step 5.4 is critical JPM S-6:

• Terminate JPM after step 12.8 JPM S-7:

• Add ramp complete to task standard

• Eliminate 1st cue on page 6; replace 2nd cue with Tave/Tref are in an acceptable band
