addendum to: Clinch River: Met Question on Vector WD and Scalar WS Ray, As we discussed, as TVA frame its response discussing use of vector versus scalar wind direction computations, include how TVAs vector wind direction data set is suitable for use as input to the straight-line Gaussian XOQDOQ and PAVAN atmospheric dispersion models (e.g., potential sector shifts, distribution of calms). In addition, explain how TVAs onsite data set could affect comparisons to onsite and off-site data (which is likely to be scalar or mixed) in the SSAR section used to establish the long-term representativeness of the onsite data.
