Dear Congressman Upton:
August 24, 1994 In my letter of August 2, 1994, I responded to your facsimile of June 29, 1994.
I told you that we would respond to you more fully when we received a copy of the article from the Niles Daily Star that was mentioned in Mr. Ellsworth Cummins' letter of June 2, 1994.
We attempted to call Mr. Cummins again and left a message on his answering machine stating that we have not yet received the article.
On August 5, 1994, we telephoned the office of the Niles Daily Star in a further attempt to obtain the article.
Ms. Jan Griffey of the newsroom of the Niles Daily Star told us that the newspaper has not done an article about the Palisades Plant in the five years that she has been working there.
We concluded that Mr.
Cummins may be in error about the article.
