GB Slade General Manager LICENSEE EVENT REPORT 93-013 - LOSS OF EMERGENCY ONSITE AC POWER DUE TO BOTH EMERGENCY DIESEL GENERATORS BEING SIMULTANEOUSLY INOPERABLE Licensee Event Report (LER)93-013 is attached. This event is reportable in accordance with 10CFRS0.73(a)(2)(i)(B) as a condition prohibited by plant technical specifications in that both emergency diesel generators were simultaneously inoperable.

This LER is submitted greater than 30 days from the date of the event which is contrary to the requirements of 10 CFR 50.73(a)(l). Our evaluation of the failure to submit a timely report is in progress.

The results of this evaluation will be provided in a separate letter. A review of other potential Licensee Event Reports over the last two years is also in progress.

Corrective actions to effectively prevent the recurrence of the failure to submit a timely LER will be established.
