20-YEAR CONTAINMENT TENDON SURVEILLANCE REPORT GB Slade General Manager Enclosed is the report for the Palisades 20-year containment tendon surveillance.
The surveillance, conducted during February and March 1992, is in compliance with Palisades Technical Specifications 4.5.4, "Surveillance for Prestressing Systems," and 4.5.5, "End Anchorage Concrete Surveillance." The report is submitted in accordance with Palisades Technical Specifi~ation 6.9.3.3.
The results of the inspection showed, in part, that the lift-off forces of all the surveillance tendons met the acceptance criteria. The conclusion reached in the report is that there is no abnormal degradation evident in the Palisades containment post tensioning system.
