Dear Mr. Slade:
FEB 2 6 1992 In January 1992, NRC Region III received revisions to Sections 4 and 7 of the Palisade Nuclear Plant's Emergency Plan.
My staff reviewed these revisions and determined that they are acceptable and do not decrease the effectiveness of your emergency planning for the Palisades Nuclear Plant.
The revised Section 4 included refinements to the wording of some of the Emergency Action Levels.
In several cases, the associated subsequent action steps were reprioritized.
The revised Section 7 included several clarifications to the primary and backup communications systems linking your facilities with each 6ther or with the emergency response facilities of state and county governments.
