DELETION OF REVISION 26a TO THE PALISADES SECURITY PLAN GB Slade

- On July 2, 1990, Consumers Power Company submitted Revision 26 to the Palisades Security Plan. This revision was designated as Appendix F to the plan.
It described temporary security changes and compensatory measures made necessary by modifications to the Palisades Security Building and replacement of the plant steam generators, main.condenser and other related ~quipment.
The NRC's review of our submittal resulted in a request for additional
~nformation which was dated July 23, 1990. -In response to that request, Consumers Power Company provided Revision 26a to the Palisades Security Plan
Revision 26a was acknowledged as approved by the NRC in a letter to Consumers Power Company dated January 2, 1991.
Since the modification and replacement work has been completed, there is no need for the temporary security changes and compensatory measures.
Therefore the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.(NRC) is hereby notified, (one original and three copies) that due to the completion of the projects, Appendix F to the Palisades Security Plan is deleted.
A Security Plan revision describing permanent changes made necessary by the above projects will be submitted to the NRC within 60 days from March 5, 1991 pursuant to 10CFR50.54(p)(2). These permanent changes have been judged to not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the plan.
