This email is to document a teleconference on February 9, 2018 between the NRC and applicant Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory regarding the JHUAPL application for a Part 70 license.
Participants:
NRC Suzanne Ani JHUAPL Dave Bisson Nick Baker Stan Puchalla In an email dated 2/7/2018 JHUAPL provided supplemental information regarding security and MC&A: procedure taxonomy, QAP, security response procedure. These internal safeguards and security documents will be placed into ADAMS, profiled as non-public/security-related.
During this teleconference, JHUAPL confirmed that (1) notification of safeguards events includes both physical security (physical damage) per 73.67 and MC&A (theft or diversion) events per 74.11 and (2) the records required by 74.19 will be maintained (stored) and available for inspection.
A copy of this record will be placed into ADAMS
