VIKING INDUSTRY POTTED CONNECTOR REPLACEMENT SCHEDULE As committed in our docketed correspondence of February 6 and February 7, 1990, we have attached a summary of the current Viking connector replacement sched-ule.
This schedule reflects the results of a review performed by Operations and Engineering personnel to ensure that connectors with the greatest opera-tional significance are replaced on a priority basis.
Although some connectors are not scheduled for replacement until Fall 1990, we are currently working to complete the modification packages for replacement of affect-ed Viking connectors as soon as possible, regardless of modification implemen-tation schedule.
It is our intent to replace as many of the affected Viking connectors as possible during the 1990 Spring Maintenance Outage which is presently sched-uled to begin in mid-April.
Total replacement of these connectors cannot be supported during this outage due to the limited availability of replacement connectors, splice kits, and other related hardware.
It is antici-pated that the replacement connectors, splice kits, and hardware will be available to complete replacement of the affected Viking connectors during the 1990 Fall Refueling Outage, which is scheduled to begin in September.
