SUPPLEMENT - REQUEST TO RETAIN SOIL IN ACCORDANCE WITH 10CFR20.32 -
RADWASTE FACILITY ADDITION DELAY In our January 25, 1988 letter, we made a commitment to move the radwaste activities, which caused the contamination of soil from the South Radwaste Area, to a new radwaste facility due to be completed in 1988.
Because of delays in issuing a contract, and budget constraints due to unanticipated outage costs (e.g., steam generator inspection), the new radwaste facility could not be completed this year and construction has been delayed until 1989.
We are, therefore, providing a revised commitment to transfer the radwaste activities to the new facility in 1989.
