COMPLIANCE WITH 10CFR50.48 & 10CFR50 APPENDIX R -
FIRE PROTECTION - ADDITIONAL INFORMATION NRC letter dated April 6, 1988 confirmed that the Palisades Plant* would be inspected on May 9 through 13, 1988 for compliance with 10CFR50, Appendix R.
In addition, the April 6, 1988 NRC letter requested Consumers Power Company to provide by April 25, 1988 or a negotiated date, additional information to enable proper NRC preparation for and performance of that inspection.
During the April 20 and 21, 1988 visit to the Palisades Plant by Mr J Ulie from Region III, the majority of the requested information was provided to and/or reviewed by Mr Ulie.
As agreed to by Mr Ulie and Messers R W Philips and D J Malone of Consumers Power Company, the remainder of the information, was to be submitted by April 28, 1988.
During an April 25, 1988 telephone conversation between Messrs Ulie and Malone, Mr Ulie requested that the remaining information be sent directly to Mr Rudy Hodor at Brookhaven National Laboratory.
As indicated in the attached letter, the remainder of the requested information was transmitted to Mr Hodor on April 28, 1988.

Per the request of Mr J Ulie, USNRC Region III, to Mr D J Malone of our Palisades Plant on April 25, 1988, I am forwarding the attached information in support of the May 9 through 13, 1988 inspection of compliance with 10CFRSO Appendix R.
This information is part of that requested by USNRC _letter dated April 6, 1988.
The remainder of the information requested in the above referenced letter was presented to or reviewed by Mr Ulie during his April 20 and 21, 1988 visit to the Palisades Plant.
