SUBJECT:

ACRS ASSESSMENT OF THE QUALITY OF SELECTED NRC RESEARCH PROJECTS - FY 2018

Dear Mr. Corradini:

Thank you for the Committees recent letter dated January 28, 2018 (ADAMS Accession No. ML18022A054), transmitting the report entitled, ACRS Assessment of the Quality of Selected NRC Research Projects - FY 2017. This annual report assists the NRC staff in evaluating the quality and usefulness of selected programs to support licensing and related regulatory functions of the agency.

The purpose of this letter is to provide a list of NRC research projects for ACRS consideration and review during FY 2018. The list below provides documents containing research published over the past year; we excluded NUREGs developed under international agreements and those that contain research that support a specific licensing review. You will note that this list is more comprehensive than in previous years to provide the Committee more products to choose from and to represent a more complete range of our research.
