TYPOGRAPHICAL ERROR IN TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS On January 30, 1986, Amendment No. 96 to the Palisades Plant Provisional Operating license was approved.
It provided changes to Table 3.17.4 as requested by Consume.rs Power Company in our letters of September 17, 1984, May 31, 1985, and October 28, 1985.
One particular change was incorrectly transcribed in the original change request and remained incorrect throughout the other submittals.
The error was then carried into Amendment No. 96.
The last word of the present footnote (g), formerly footnote (f), has been incorrectly transcribed as "operable." The correct word is "inoperable." In our Technical Specifications Change Request, which added a new footnote *(e) and re-lettered former footnotes (e) and (f) to (f) and (g), this typographi-cal error was not noticed.
The Palisades NRC Project Manager has been notified of the error and agreed that Palisades may continue to operate, as it had formerly, to calculate quadrant power tilt when the excore detector alarms are inoperable.
Consumers Power Company will be providing a change to correct this error iri an up~oming Technical Specifications Change Request.
