Dear Mr. Higgins:
EAD 84*087 The Palisades Operations Department, beginning October 1, 1984, will initiate a six shift rotation for training purposes.
By implementing this type of shift rotation, the Continuing Training for Operators will necessarily be altered from the present format, wherein each shift comes to training every fifth week, to the format indicated on the attached schedule.
As can be seen, one shift (Shfft #5) will not be included in the rotation until June, 1985.
However, we have taken into atcount the license require-me~ts for all licensed personnel on that shift and they will all receive the_ appropriate and required training, i.e. License Event Reports, Corrective Action Reports, Industry Experience, etc., prior to license renewal dates.
They will also continue to receive Systems Training and On-the~Job Training on a 5th Shift Cycle.
The schedule permits a four week break, which will allow time for vacations Holiday periods and instructor preparation time.

The Annual Requalification Examinations will be given on October 26, 1984, November 23, 1984, December 21, 1984, February 15, 1985, March 15, 1985 and July 5, 1985.
Simulator schedules will be forwarded to you upon receipt by me.
