RESPONSE TO GENERIC LETTER 84 OPERATOR TRAINING PROGRAM (INCLUDING THE REQUALIFICATION TRAINING PROGRAM)
Generic Letter 84-14, dated May 11, 1984, "Replacement and Requalification Training Program" requested that licensees provide the current operator replacement and qualification training program.
The program is detailed in the following documents:

- For the reason explained below these documents_ are enclosed herein.
Note that no li~ensing action is being requested.
The Generic Letter requested the programs be provided as part of the FSAR annual update.
Generic Letter 84-14 does allow training programs to be submitted in lieu. of their inclusion in the FSAR Update revisions.
Therefore, Consumers Power Company has decided to provide the current and future training program separate from the annual revisions to the Palisades Plant fSAR Update.
As requested in.Generic Letter 84-14, future revisions to the FSAR update will include explicit reference, including date, to the submittal.which is the program of record.
