SEP TOPIC III - 7.B DESIGN CODES, DESIGN CRITERIA AND LOADING COMBINATIONS ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Consumers Power Company letter dated June 28, 1984 was a partial response to a letter from D.M. Crutchfield (NRC) to DJVandeWalle (CPCo), "Integrated Plant Safety Assessment Report (IPSAR) Section 4.12, Design Codes, Design Criteria and Load Combinations for the Palisades Plant," dated* November 1, 1983 which identified the remaining open items on SEP Topic III - 7.B.

This submittal covers the remaining issues, specifically items associated.

with thermal loads, snow loads and pipe rupture loads on the containment

  • building and other safety related concrete structures.

These issues are each addressed by a separate report contained in the attachment to this letter.

Consumers Power Company considers this letter to be the final submittal on SEP Topic III - 7.B.
