STEAM GENERATOR AUGMENTED INSERVICE INSPECTION PROGRAM CHANGES TO THE TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION NRC letter dated June 11, 1984 enclosed a Safety Evaluation Report (SER) for our 1983-84 Steam Generator Inspection Program.
The cover letter to the SER requested a change to the.Palisades Plant Technical Specification within 60 days of receipt of the letter.
The submittal will update section 4.14 of the Technical Specification to reflect our most recent Inservice Inspection Program changes for Steam Generators.
By telephone conversation on September 12, 1984 with W Paulson of your staff, we identified that due to the extended length of the refueling outage, we have n~t been able to meet the commitment due date specified by the SER.
The proposed change request; however, is currently undergoing final reviews through our Plant Review Committee and Nuclear Safety Board and will be forwarded shortly.
