2 Pressure retaining nozzle welds in vessels Volumetric examination of nozzle-to-vessel attachment welds, examination category C-B Basis for Relief:
The RHR heat exchange:!:'.s nozzle-to-vessel attar.h.rnent weld is covered by a reinforcement ring (shown in the attached sketch) which does not allow access to any of the attachment weld.
Alternate Inspection:
The reinforcement ring welds are accessible and will be given a surface examination.
Two reinforcement rings on each unit will be examined over the 40-year inspection interval in accordance with IWC-2411 on M?1E Section XI.
