NRC letter dated December 3, 1981 and entitled "Emergency Preparedness.
Appraisal", contained in Appendix A the Confirmation of Action Letter dated October 7, 1981.
Item 4.A of this Confirmation of Action Letter addressed the Public Education Program for transient adults within the Emergency Planning Zone.
The purpose of this letter is to provide the following additional information to that program:
Social Services of Van Buren County Michigan has had a reduction in force and has lost the services of their Spanish Translator because of a lengthy court case.
They do intend however, to prepare a 4 page version of the Emergency Preparedness Brochure in everyday Spanish for the summer season when the Spanish-speaking migrants arrive.
In the meantime, a Spanish version of Emergency Plan Information exists as Attachment 9 to Appendix 1 to the Social Services Annex of the Van Buren County Emergency Preparedness Plan.
