General Offices: 212 West Michigan Avenue, Jackson, Michigan 49201 * (517) 788-0550 March 30, 1981 Director, Nuclear Reactor Regulation Att Mr Dennis M Crutchfield, Chief Operating Reactors Branch No 5 US Nuclear Regulatory Commission Washington, DC 20555 DOCKET 50-255 - LICENSE DPR PALISADES PLANT - INTEGRATED LEAK RATE TEST In accordance vith 10 CFR Part 50 Appendix J, III (6), Consumers Power Company is informing you that the next Integrated Leak Rate Test (ILRT) will be conducted during the 1981 ~alisades Plant refueling outage.
This outage is tentatively scheduled to begin in August 1981.
This ILRT will be conducted at 28 psig "reduced pressure test" as allowed by 10 _C.FR 50 Appendix J and the Palisades Plant Technical Specification 4.5.1. Results of the test will be transmitted when completed.
