-....j IE Bulletin 80-11, Masonry Wall Design, dated May 8, 1980, required the identification of any masonry walls which are in proximity to, or have attachments from, safety-related piping and provide a reevaluation of the design adequacy of the walls.
The response for the Palisades Plant, titled "Sixty-Day Response to NRC IE Bulletin 80-11," was submitted to you on July 9, 1980.
In that report we committed to submit the reevaluation of the design adequacy of the masonry walls in accordance to the subject IE Bulletin.

-2 The reevaluation program for the Palisades Plant is expected to be completed in December 1980.
The attached report, prepared by Bechtel Power Corporation, titled "Palisades 180 Day Response to NRC IE Bulletin 80-11," contains information on the work that has been completed prior to the issuance of this report.
An update report will be issued upon completion of the reevaluation work.
