QUALITY ASSURANCE REQUIREMENTS REGARDING DIESEL GENERATOR FUEL OIL

. Quality Assurance (QA) Program with regard to diesel fuel oil for the Palisades Plant.
Diesel fuel oil is included in the Palisades Plant QA Program as required by Quality Assur_ance Program Procedures ( QAPP) 2-52, Section 5. 2. 2.
Testing require-ments are defined in the Palisades Plant Technical Specifications 4.17.2.2.b(l) which requires that a sample of diesel fuel from the main storage tank (T-10) be tested in accordance with ASTM-D270-65 and is within the acceptable limits with respect to viscosity, water content and sediment.
This test is conducted at least once every three (3) months.
